HVS Hotel Management provides consulting services covering a wide range of subjects including operations, marketing and financial structure. We also coordinate consulting assignments with other divisions of HVS, major international firms and members of the International Society of Hospitality Consultants (ISHC), with which we enjoy special relationships with many members, so that our clients get the maximum benefit for their dollars invested in consulting.
Operational and Marketing Analysis
We conduct operational and marketing reviews of hotels for the purpose of identifying shortcomings in marketing efforts, operational inefficiencies, service deficiencies which may be inappropriate for that particular hotel, improper and wasteful payroll scheduling and other waste. These reviews are very useful for increasing cash flow, developing workout plans or analyzing budgets and cash flow forecasts for hotels.

Market Demand Studies, Market Overviews and Impact Analysis
We help those who may inquire about these services find the most appropriate Consulting & Valuation (C&V) office within HVS for their unique need, as HVS Hotel Management no longer undertakes these types of assignments. We have unique insight into which C&V office is most appropriate for various types of assignments based on the type of hotel, location and the purpose of the analysis. We will help you coordinate the work and interpret the conclusions. In some cases we will prepare the estimated operating results based on our experience as an operator and asset manager.
In many cases, particularly when working in our Asset Management and Consulting roles we commission market demand studies on behalf of clients. In these cases, in order to maintain our independence and eliminate conflicts of interest, we prepare a list of prospective consultants appropriate for a particular assignment and let our client make the selection. We then finalize the arrangements and coordinate the work on behalf of our client.
